Kaas plateau (25 kms.)

Kaas plateau the pride of satara is also a world heritage site. ‘Kaas Pathar’ is known for various types of wild flowers which bloom during Late August-October every year. The area of plateau is located at a height of 1200 mt and is approximately 1,000 hectare. The place has more than 850 different species of flowers and other plants including Orchids, Karvy and carnivorous plants such as Drosera Indica. This falls under the Sahyadri Sub Cluster ofWestern Ghats which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Lovely weather adds happiness to your visit.

Thosegar waterfall (36 kms.)

Thoseghar waterfall is the most scenic and picturesque spot near the small village of Thoseghar, 20 km from Satara city, at the edge of the Konkan region, in Western India. There are a series of waterfalls, some of them 15 to 20 metres and one of 500 metres in height. People come from all over Maharashtra to visit the area, especially during the rainy or monsoon season, July to November. The immediate area is calm and quiet, with a clean lake and dark woods in a hilly area.

Sajjangad (25 kms.)

Sajjangad means Fort of Good People, is located near the city of Satara, India. It is the final resting place of Sant Ramdas in 17th century India (born 1606). His teachings and works written in books such as Dasbodh are read and followed by many people even today in the state of Maharashtra and Sajjangad is a popular place of pilgrimage.

Aundh Museum (50 Kms.)

Aundh Museum Late Shrimant Bhavanrao alias Balasaheb Maharaj Pantpratinidhi (Raja of Aundh State) was a good artist and lover of art. The museum displays his collection of paintings,statuary, sculptured pots, weapons and holy books and many more. The museum was established in 1938. Museum has more than 8,000 articles and 16,000 books including 3500 holy books (handwritten).
